Iowa Miso
Hello! My name is Tomie (Toh-mee-eh). My job is my family's health, seeing everybody's happy faces and hearing their cries "Delicious!" every time I cook a meal. This is how I started to make miso, and once started I couldn't stop: the flavors, the smells! Let's make more. I want everyone to taste IOWA MISO.
Soybeans, koji, salt and water just these four ingredients make up this fermented food! It is such fun to make it for each time the fermentation shows a different face.
